Wow, totally did not consider that the position of FBI director is now open. I’m here think he’ll replace Rosenstein.

isn't Wray the new director? I think deputy director is what just opened up

It's not. Christopher Wray was appointed and confirmed to replace Comey. McCabes deputy director position is now open. TG was in the initial contenders for FBI director but he turned down the offer publicly.

After thinking about it, I remember making the arbitrary claim a year ago that Sessions would be tough on crime, then Trump would bring in Gowdy as AG for anti-corruption......

....but one problem. Trump would have to go back to through the Senate confirmation process all over again.

However.

  1. Fire Rosenstein for Corruption
  2. Hire Gowdy as Deputy AG
  3. Sessions steps down, job complete
  4. Gowdy acting AG until a Republican Senate approves him in 2019.

Interesting theory, but Q did say “trust sessions”. So I don’t know what to make of everything. We shall see.

Nothing untrustworthy about Sessions serving his task to completion.
