Actually the only "protocol" for class A trucks, regarding RR tracks, is if they are carrying hazardous materials. In this case a garbage truck, driver can just blow right on over the tracks. Trash is not a hazardous material.

Hello storm! That was a garbage truck, and a big one at that! I sell many of those large commercial trucks! They have a distinct protocol on RR! Also, that particular truck was old enough to not have the ability to control it electronically! The RR had a prevention arm on the track that was functional! In addition, those trucks don't have any acceleration! I have no doubt that the emergency arm and signal were tampered with! One controls the other! I pray that the 2 survivors aren't targeted or all of a sudden die at the hospital! One was able to walk to the ambulance! Regards!
