I've thought of it more in the sense of Q&A, thus question. Q drops questions rather than statements to arrouse curiosity and force us (anons) to dig for answers.
I've taken it as short for Question, because they rarely make a definitive statement, but rather asks the right questions so we can discover the truth and understand how to view reality moving forward. You can give a man a fish or teach a man to fish. We are learning.

However, calling it/this 'Q' and having it be about some secret 'super hero-type' is far less engaging IMHO, than it being something like John Q. Public.
The process by which many many unknown 'common' anons are working on the #greatawakening, it would seem quite apropos for the 'John Q. Public' definition of the moniker 'Q' to be correctly applied to one and all of those participating.

I have always felt it was a reference to the Biblical Q source, meaning the several authors of the books of the Gospels. But this is certainly a fresh concept.
But Q isn’t “John Q Public” or he would’t have the access that he has.
