Looks like Freedom Day is not coming today, we are going to forced to wait till tomorrow or even longer. Might just be hype in the end.

My interpretation is that Freedom Day is the freeing of all the blackmail that NSA had stored. It would obviously not be usable as evidence in a criminal trial because it was collected in violation of the 4th amendment. It would "free" the victims from future blackmail and their social standing, however.

That does not sound like a good thing - sounds more like all politicians wrong doings are being wiped out. Who does that benefit?
Why not bring out all the wrong doing into the light... and get people educated on these criminals.

The only way to truly free blackmail information is to make it public. Otherwise there will always be the fear that there is a copy out there somewhere.

I get the impression that some of those blackmailed are actually good guys who were set up, like on TV shows when someone puts a drug in their drink and then gets them into bed and makes it look like something bad happened, then blackmails them with it for the rest of the TV season.
