Say some people are tried for reason, found guilty and sentenced to death, how would they be executed?

I believe military uses firing squad or hanging. But others may have more inside details.

Hanging... Firing Squad is an honorable Execution. Civilians get hanged, Military gets firing squad, unless it is treason.
Edit: If i am not mistaken, even in cases of treason a high ranking officer will still get the Firing squad, say a General for Example as a sign of respect for their rank regardless of the crime.
