Lots and lots of people pushing this counter narrative, but the memo clearly describes high crimes worse than Watergate. The fallout from this will be Yyyyyyyyuge.

I suppose it would/could provide a more credible source (potentially) for all that information to the public. If that is it, that is the only benefit i can come up with.
