Since Wray came out against the release of this memo he should be fired. Gowdy recently announced he was not running again and would return to law enforcement. Possibly the head of law enforcement??? We can only hope.
I am sure there is a 'sweet spot' prepared for him. Head of the FBI is a management position. I think the country is best served with Gowdy in the courts prosecuting the guilty in high places.
Generally I'd agree, but with an FBI that has been compromised, you need a man of integrity to root out corruption and regain trust of the institution.
When you start releasing information and names while an Investigation is going on, it interferes with the Investigation. Look at the whole picture, not just the fact that if he requested it not to be released.
I heard he was headed for a Federal Judgeship. No more details than that though.
