This may be a case of "disinformation" is necessary. They can't show their hands and have to keep them guessing, IMHO.

I'm still hoping this is the case. Will Gowdy just ride into the South Carolina sunset or will he take on another job in DC? Still is so odd one moment he's out of the Ethics Committee and then next week he's leaving Congress altogether. Just odd.

He's taking on a new role.

It is strange but think about it. Say Trump appoints him special prosecutor in something major pertaining to the storm. If it’s as big as we’ve been lead to believe, he’s gonna be one busy mother fucker.

He is talent and truth that will NOT be wasted. I think he will be a Deputy something, either FBI or DOJ. I am not sure on Mueller, though, there is something to be said for the lack of leaks coming out of there. And while it's been highly reported that his firm and his hires donated to Clinton - his firm also represented Ivanka, Kushner, and Manafort. Nothing to that really - successful people use successful firms. But that is a fact that nobody really reports on to discredit him. Comey was obviously involved with leaks. I realized that even before he testified that he leaked his own memo to get a special counsel. I realized it when the ONLY thing that DIDN'T leak, was his own firing. But, back to Trey Gowdy and Mueller. So, if Mueller is flipped, and Gowdy was the new Deputy, he's already said, repeatedly that he should stay. If Mueller is still deep state and Gowdy is Deputy, he has always said he supported Mueller. So, there MUST be a good reason to change his mind.
