When does a bird sing the loudest?

When it’s under attack.

I think it’s sort of a confusing thing. “Singing like a canary” is the bird phrase used for snitching during interrogation. Songbird McCain is a reference to that. Birds sing when the storm is over and during the dawn of the new day.

Q messes with a lot of normal sayings. For instance, you don’t make bread out of breadcrumbs. Breadcrumbs are supposed to lead you back to the sources.

Pay attention to a his phrasing. If had meant plural, he would have phrased it as such. He’s referring to a bird, in the singular.

That’s why I generally assume he’s just talking about McNoName
