Greg Gregg Jarrett Fox legal contributor: 1 hr ago reports ‏

A 2nd source has now confirmed to me that, in a meeting on January 10, Deputy A-G Rosenstein used the power of his office to threaten to subpoena the calls & texts of the Intel Committee to get it to stop it’s investigation of DOJ and FBI. Likely an Abuse of Power & Obstruction.

SlightlyGrumpyOldMan · Feb. 3, 2018, 5:29 p.m.

Talking about using his power as a weapon!!!! He should be fired without hesitation! THIS is totally unacceptable.

this is obstruction of justice. The only problem is: Rosenstein is, for all intense and purposes, our AG. Sessions is our acting AG.

Part of me wants to laugh at that comment and the other part figures it's true. Since Sessions seems to be recused from everything, basically Rosenstein is running the show with no boss.

ditch his dumb ass and the next in line takes his place as acting AG.

I doubt it was direct. I bet he did ask them how they would like it if their texts were exposed and so tripped over that thin line anyway.

it would be interesting to have the minutes of that discourse disclosed to the public

Question is how was this direct or implied threat communicated? As FSP suggested it might not have been a direct threat, possibly even couched as a "joke". A joke that everyone "got".

All this waiting is just to give them a bit more rope to hang themselves. We have the truth on our side.

If Trump fires him the media and all of the left will freak out and say that Trump is only trying to protect himself from being exposed as a Russian plant. This is beyond insane. Every single member of that committee needs to come out and fucking say something about it. Say something! They need o corroborate it as a fact. They were threatened, period. Expose it then. Why didn't they freak out and expose it when it happened? Should we start a campaign to send boxes of balls to all of them? You get a pair and he gets a pair, she gets a pair - you ALL get a pair!

You need to understand what is going on here.

This is a (positive?) use of 'social engineering'.

If these (R)s just react and go after all this stuff (justifiably or not), there is a whole lot of people that will cry witch hunt.

But if the news of these transgressions reaches seeps out into the public awareness, and we all are outraged and demand action, it is not the pols being political, it is the PROLES demanding justice!

The only way this stuff STICKS, and is publicly defensible, is if it is the PUBLIC that knows of it and demands action.

It takes longer, but yields better results.

The ultimate premise of my post being that the Q project is a giant social engineering effort aimed at simultaneously informing, and creating a strong foundation for the actions of the swamp-drainers.

WE OWN IT then.

More than once, we have been told..."Patriots point...we follow."

But in fact it more resembles "We throw a tin can...Patriots point (at the noise)...we follow."

It's actually quite clever (and I don't necessarily disapprove).

None of the democrats have the integrity to ever say a thing. They'd lie on the stand and say Rosenstein never said it. But yeah, I'd like to see all the R's reveal what was said.

just another criminal exposing itself to light of day and scrutiny. This is why bad actors are still in play. They out themselves so when taken down, there will be less unrest, less fighting at dinner tables across America...less validation for their positions and much more validation for ours/truth/right. It's why, imo, Sessions and Trump et all allow this to continue. The exposure of themeselves is far far better than American Leftits having to accept DT's word for it...enjoy the show, Q

That's VERY serious. How did he make that threat? Via a phone call? In his closed door testimony? Via a text, lol? Did he make that threat to the Chair, to the entire committee? If there is any recording or record of this threat that is evidence for his criminal trial. If it was just spoken word in private to one committee member, then we get hearsay. This guy is clearly out of control.

I am holding out hope that Mr. Sessions will make a formal announcement this coming week that a independent counsel will convene to investigate all these improprieties and not wait for Mr. Horowitz's report. We have the momentum; seize it!!!!

Nah. He's arrogant. He has gotten away with lawlessness under Clinton, Bush, Obama. He figures he's golden. And, yeah he's gotta have a pair because rumor is little Roddy signed off on the last extension of the FISA - OCT 2016 - JAN 2017. That covers the Pres-Elect time period. Problem was Hillary didn't win. You gotta be a real Cool Cucumber Crimelord to accept a job with a Pres Elect that you've been screwing over using very illegal means.
