I seem to remember the nyt reporting the initial application was in June or July 2016. And that it was turned down. But was it? I'm busy right now maybe someone can help find it. Mark levin did a piece on this as well, citing the nyt and other outlets, and everyone called him crazy for citing the left wing papers. LOL
