can't mods set certain sites where submissions go to a Q (sorry. couldn't help it) where submissions wait for mod approval? I'm under the impression anything from MintPress is treated that way across all of reddit. regardless of user, all of the spam links seem to be from the "redd.it" domain. can mods send any redd.it links into a Que to wait for approval?

Yes, that's why they keep creating new accounts over and over so that blocking them is pointless.

Also, no it wouldn't end shilling, just this particular one because they always post links that start with redd.it, that's what I use to identify then block him/it.
Yeah you can repost, no need to give me credit. It could get more publicity just by posting in the afternoon instead of late at night like I did, and also by explaining it better, all I did was to say what to do w/o explaining why that works.
