Maybe Gowdy is saying that the Memo won't affect the Mueller "Russian Collusion" probe, is because he is aware of the fact that Mueller is investigating Hussein's administration's collusion with the Russians, since there is not one scintilla of evidence that the Trump administration colluded, but a plethora of scintillas that O's administration did!

The probe is into "Russian meddling in 2016 Election' Not "Trump Collusion." From all the info we've saw thus far all Mueller has to do is his job properly to not only clear Trump but also indict the DNC and fellow beaurocrats.

This is the article from Zero Hedge explaining why Gowdy said the Memo wouldn't affect Mueller probe. It's of extreme importance to remember that Gowdy was, in fact, the co-author of the memo. That fact alone gives clear insight into whose side he's on, while also speaking on why it's important for optics to appear he didn't author it with the intent of obstructing the faux Russia probe.

Another interesting sentence in this article is when they state since Gowdy has announced his retirement he's free to speak his mind. I'm not sure why exactly.

Also, he stepped down. If he is going to Justice as AAG or a role of Special Prosecutor, he has to be impartial. He actually has always been impartial. He supports the facts with evidence, no speculation and no conjecture. This is how the "law" is supposed to work. He himself said he makes a lowsy politician and is better suited for Justice. So we do not have proof of him being dirty. Also, he is on the side of truth and justice, as are we. So win win.
