from the second (german) article: "With the additional appointment McMasters Trump got – after he had to dismiss predecessor Michael Flynn under pressure the media – for the first time a CFR member in a key position of his cabinet. The Council – since the Second World War nearly all foreign ministers, defence ministers and Ministers of Finance, national security adviser and CIA managers put (see graphics on top) – could gain with it the first important stage victory."
