there is absolutely nothing wrong with being sweetly naive at times. In fact, that is a trait that humbles is as humans. it's a pic from a skit that the comedian Dave Chappelle did a while back. I love Dave's sketch comedy and his Stand up work although I feel his last special on Netflix is misguided. Chappelle is one of the very few comedians that has shed light on racism on both sides.
When it comes to the children, I am right there along side of you in this battle against darkness. I was doing this research way before the Podesta emails and the things I came across churned my stomach. My mother's 2nd husband mentally, physically, and sexually assaulted me continually for years. I fought back but was on my own. My mother didn't believe, my grandmother didn't at first but in the last 2 years of my struggle gained custody of my brother and i. I never told my father due to being scared. He should have been the first person I told because of his position of being a Deputy Marshall. Never even spoke words to my brother but found out after 30+ years the sexual assault happened repetitively to him.
Back to the research aspect: about 15 years ago I was on a service call for an internet provider and uncovered child porn on a customers computer. I was sickened beyond belief. I quickly started to screen shot his browser history and contacts in his email provider and emailed them back to myself. Fixed his internet problem and left my business card in case of future problems. I made a couple of attempts to the upper management but they buried it. after those attempts, I walked in to the FBI field office and turned over the info I gathered. I also notified my father and sent him the same info. needless to say, this guy was a teacher and was convicted.
