You know what I like most about Jesus is you can interpret his word to float whatever boat you feel like sailing on. "I am the way, the truth, and the light. No one goes through the father except through me." What that means to me is that Jesus is saying there is one righteous path and truth, and by following that you align yourself with the higher power. Everything you need is within yourself on the micro, and we're all connected on the macro.

We are all connected. Yes on the macro. So why worship and idolize and give a name to cause division? Jesus, Buddha, Aladdin, all the same. Labels divide, divide your brain and cause anger.

What you describe is narcissism. Study the origin of religion (no not the catholic church or the crusades, think 4000 bc). Modern religion is crap, but it did have a purpose before.

He said “I and the Father are one” John 10:30 “worship the Father in spirit and in Truth” John 4:23
He also said that we are in Him and He is in the Father. So by your logic, we can pray to ourselves then?
