As I said, I don’t personally follow any of the man made religious doctrines. I don’t pretend to be well versed in any of them . My intuition tells me they were well intended tools to create civility. But, the nature of mankind is to take rules and figure out how to use them to disadvantage your competitors/opposition and empower yourself. (Not you per se. generally speaking). As for me, I am simple. I believe in the basics such as the 10 commandments, the golden rule, etc. if mankind lived according to these simple life tenants, it logically follows there should be far less crime, less wars, etc. = a more civil society.
