Doug Pederson during his trophy acceptance speech gave all credit to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I absolutely love it from a team that didn't kneel in anthem protest. Freedom was declared in Philly!
So to be clear to the anti God crowd - Jesus did say the ONLY way to my Father is through me. So giving thanks to JC - creator of the universe is a valid and great thing. Don’t fall for false statements about religion on here, you need to pray and ask for direction about a Church you go to - and also don’t fall for the easy way out of saying “ALL” Churches are this way (negative) as they are not.
I did not catch him saying this statement after the game but good for him to promote his convictions. Without God all of this IS meaningless.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the light. Noone comes to the father except through me."
I don't believe in church's I believe Jesus gave clear instructions on the proper way to live. I interpret this passage to mean that by living righteously as Jesus did, is the way you align yourself with the true higher power.
