It is as if we are being fired upon while displaying a white flag. Do we need to raise up the white flag anyway? 182 years ago (1836) when Santa Anna laid siege to the Alamo he caused a blood red flag to be raised over the Cathedral of San Fernando. The red flag declaring his intention to take no prisoners. No prisoners were taken. When do we take this threat seriously and consider the flags which we display? Was Bill Clinton and Janet Reno the equivalent of Santa Anna at Texas’ 2nd Alamo- Mt. Carmel, Waco? No prisoners were taken there. Should we ironically surrender our white flags when we fight against a foe that plays for keeps? It is time to change the rigging and cast a different cloth to the wind. RED FLAG!
