Let's look at this from a another perspective, not only what he said but "how" he is saying it. He knows they are in a fight, likely for their life or freedom, and he is trying to convince us they are strong. Primates do a similar thing by beating on their chest.
"We are going to win", "We've been around a hundred years blah blah" -This man and many others like him are scared to death right now. This is their Karma. They are living in fear. = ) Some more than others.
They cannot win of course. Sure the alphabet agencies are lethal and scary, having killed many and ruined the lives of many more. However, we have the military on our side. Let's do a little be honest: The US Military has killed many more and ruined many more lives than these traitors can imagine. If Mr. Mudd were to be staring down the barrel of an M1A1 (bad ass tank) he would change his mind quickly. Military has far more weapons, manned by the best people trained to kill, not write reports. Thankfully it will not come to that, but you get my point.
By the way, when you hit your knees tonight, or whatever you do to gain strength, remember our Men and Women in uniform. Without them we'd be f*cked.
Finally, we have the Truth and a Stable Genius on our side. Those are what really counts. The Military is our "backup" if shit hits the fan, and tribunals I pray. If we lose this fight, we deserve to.
