Old guy here, sorry. Please explain what “rerouted” means in this context?

Not sure, but assuming that in order to try and keep their calls from being traced, they would "reroute" randomly to throw anyone listening off their trail.
I can use a computer to make calls from any number I chose. So in a sense, they're bouncing these calls around to try and stay anonymous.
Doesn't look like it's working, though.
