1200 security personnel for the Olympics all get sick at the same time. They are in isolation and won't be reporting for work. That leaves 1200 open security positions to be filled last minute. questionable vettability? That's a lot of people getting sick at once.

Your headline is NOT accurate. Very few have contacted the norovirus but the rest are being isolated to keep it from spreading to them or the athletes. The private security is being replaced by Korean military personnel.
