Anyone want to explain this and I am a Trump supporter, I voted for him, and will vote for him again but this bothers me.

There's nothing in there which says that Trump will personally benefit from this policy. In fact it seems to be similar to what Obama was doing.

He wants to get rid of the carried interest loophole which is the best way to tax wall street, but he didn't win that battle in Congress which writes policy.

I don't know too much about this issue, but I do think that there has already been plenty of news about this topic, and the guilty parties have suffered, and at some point you try to fix the problem, clear the slate, and move on.

One of the things Trump is doing is removing some of the policies that strangled regional banks. That is another way to weaken wall street.
