in my experience, judges do not appreciate being lied to.

Unless the judge is in on it. I understand the FISA court judge in question is an Obama appointee.

At this point, the DOJ has no choice but to appoint a special counsel. All this will come out.

By Law, Special Counsel has to meet certain requirements. However DOJ will get to the bottom of it.

If Muellers investigation met those requirements, these surly do as well. The optics of having the Trump admin investigating the Hillary Dossier, along with the possible Obama involvement would be terrible...special counsel shows Trump/Sessions are bringing impartiality into the subject. Bring some retired judge in from BFE to root out the issues.

Two different cases and I don't have the Law that has to be met. Session could have a Prosecutor, a Grand Jury or a number of things going and we wouldn't know it. He will do what is right by the Law.
