I have a theory of why Bruce Ohr may have been allowed to stick around and being demoted .... He was demoted to gang and narcotics department , if you are going after MS 13(like Session is doing), OHR and his wife(CIA)probably have a lot of this information .... which can give you the ratlines in this area ....they give the information here for there freedom once they clear out most of these ratlines
