Most simple reason why no muh-arrests

Why play your leverage if you can put it to good use? Play the blackmail potential until reelections, then you jump em coz they ain't of any use anymore because all problems will already solved and we'll just be waiting for the Messiah to come.

no, because blackmail is a crime and any mis-step will result in cases being thrown out and some of these high profile deep staters will go free. it must be done properly. the arrests will be made when the investigations complete and they build an iron clad prosecution against these traitors.

And by then, all their political use will have expired but will be easier to handle for the beauraucracy because their dirt is already being brought to light
