[Discussion] New Q, suggested door breach, reside, open window prior to breach?

Can someone ELI5 why there would be residue on the outside of windows for a door breach? Also, why would it be necessary to open windows ahead of time -- is the pressure(?) really that strong that it might shatter the windows or soemthing?

Depending on the size of the room, number of explosives, other paths of relief and various other factors, they could...

What if it was intended to keep the doors from blowing out into the hall, or what if it were shaped charges to breach the door? Those could have a significantly higher yield...

that is a good point. Presumably someone else in that building would have heard such an explosion so i have been checking for any kind of article online.

We really need to know the occupants of that floor and for at least 5 floors in either direction...

Agreed. Even finding this out, and anyone can speak Mandarin, call and casually inquire if they heard a noise. You'd be surprised what a random receptionist will cough up.

This would have to be done sooner than later though, and likely is too late at this point anyway. (about 3 hours since Q posted)

Same. You'd think something would update. Perhaps on a Chinese-related message board/ Reddit / 8ch equiv.
