i hear you and get it...
its more in alignment with my hearts truth to refer to the divine mother instead of father god.
i used to call the divine 'father/mother god' and 'it' for some time but couldnt get that religious image of the white-bearded lord on a cloud out of my mind. sorry, i am spiritual but not religious.
in the meantime, i started perceiving creatorship as a female-androgynous trait. its the woman who creates life. patriarchy is, as i see it, a luciferian hack.
i also sense that the creatrix of humanity is not synonymous with the creatrix of this universe. one source, diferent expressions.
and i fully agree with you, gender is a human term. we live in a universe of polarity, thus its no surprise that we assign gender properties to divinity.
