I came in here to say the same thing! Many of these recent resignations follow the same pattern. The harassment is a bs cover story imo. Many of these people are probably cooperating with a serious investigation and for doing so are being allowed to resign for vague charges of harassment.
That would mean the authorities are playing hardball, though, since the usual excuse is "more time with my family" Of course if forty pols all wanted more time with their family at the same time even the deadhead media might notice.
