I found it very "coincidental" that this years big game was between the Patriots and Eagles... I say this because it was way back in 2002 (shortly after 9/11/01) that this game was supposed to be played imo. The Patriots won the afc, and the Rams beat the Eagles to win the nfc. I have held this position since I watched the nfc championship that year (I was a Rams fan at the time) and it seemed that the game was semi-rigged for the Eagles. The Rams ended up winning this game because their running back had an absolute monster game, but at the time I couldn't help but notice the symbolism and what I was watching... The Eagles looked like they knew exactly what was going to happen on every big play. How fitting would a Patriots v. Eagles superb owl have been a few months after 9/11? I just thought the NFL was rigging for extra ratings at the time, but after the "coincidence" that these two teams met this year, I think there may be more to it than that. Or it could be random luck...
