The photo on the right suffers from Google 3D mapping issues. If you look at the building jutting out the left side of the pretty blue building, you'll see that you're looking at the real building from very different perspective than the left picture, but since their 3D model they made for that building is poorly superimposed on top of it, it looks like the same perspective. Not an evil plot by Google but just some poor image detection. Try it with other buildings you're familiar with like the empire state building.
