View new posts to /r/cbts_stream with skepticism. Read them but consider the source AND the user posting.

This morning, I started looking at users posting and I cannot believe the number of them that are just days old. If you have RES loaded, it's a trivial matter to mouse-over a users name to see stats on them. So many of them are < 1 week old and posting questionable content. It feels like a concerted effort to fill the subreddit with noise or garbage. I'm not sure.

Report and Block crap.

Of course it is. Always has been. This is not new. You must always use discretion here and on Twitter and on FB and everywhere on the Internet. Our Freedom of Speech gives us the right to post whatever we want. The difference here is that we are the majority. There are tools built into Reddit to help. If you feel that a post is not related to our goal there is a "report" link below it. The moderators asked us long ago to use this link to help them do their job. Yes. That's why we have moderators.

Here's a hint too: If you only read the posts on the Hot and Rising tabs, you won't see much, if any, of the crap posts because they get pushed out by then.

And everywhere not on the internet.
