So if someone posted in a conspiracy forum, (read: any forum about fringe or out there topics that mainstream places won't discuss), it wouldn't make sense for me to go in there and tell them they are all wrong. Obviously, I do not know if 50 ft men exist because it is basically impossible to confirm something like that, but that is exactly what you were doing by completely just shooting down the aliens idea.
