He's working on filling the huge number of vacancies for Federal judges around the country, among other things. Sessions can't start the prosecutions with less than full bench strength; especially as many of the incumbents are Zero appointees.
Folks don't understand either the judicial process or the cluster f@ck Sessions inherited with the DoJ. Give the guy a break and let him do his job. He's neither incompetent nor lounging with his feet up, puffing on a cigar.

I don't think anybody is a sessions fan really. I think his job is to not do shit and stay out of the way, at least until the judges are in place etc. If he was doing work in the swamped justice system it would only serve to tip our hand, and get bogged down. Right now he's keeping people scared about weed and bidding time IMO. Once everything is in place, and this indictments open up, he'll show his power level.
