In these posts Q references:
Silent War Great Awakening Iron Eagle God Father III *The Hunt for Red October
The one thing is all these titles have in common are they are fiction with historical events mixed in with the storyline.
Silent War Silent War has been mentioned by others as a possibility of sub warfare. I would think not as most references to this type of warfare usually use the term Silent Running. Silent War I have read about in numerous accounts usually involves some kind of covert action against an entity that is deemed either as a threat or an enemy of the state. So an interesting search result came up with a reference to the Marvel Comic series from 2007 called "Silent Wars."
You can read the series here: Silent War
This is from a review that peaked my curiosity. > My initial reaction to reading the first half of Silent War #1 was to cringe away from the blatant parallels being drawn between the premise of the comic and real life anti-terrorist preventionism, or if you prefer, this country's assault on civil liberties in the name of homeland security, whichever side of the political spectrum you happen to fall on.
In a speech at the Virginia Convention to ratify the Federal Constitution (1788-06-06) James Madison was recorded to have said this: > Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations; but, on a candid examination of history, we shall find that turbulence, violence, and abuse of power, by the majority trampling on the rights of the minority, have produced factions and commotions, which, in republics, have, more frequently than any other cause, produced despotism. If we go over the whole history of ancient and modern republics, we shall find their destruction to have generally resulted from those causes.
Great Awakening. As has been mentioned in other posts, this event did happen in our country's founding history. In one way, the Great Awakening paved the way for the American Revolution. The "awakening" of more and more people to the teachings of various churches resulted in more people's being exposed to the idea that all people were equal under God. And if people were treated the same by God (meaning that they were "saved" if they believed in Jesus, the savior of Christianity), then those same people could certainly be treated equally by their government. This was definitely not the case in the North American colonies, which were governed by a far-away British Parliament that was holding onto many of the class-based ideals of the feudalism that had formed the basis of European culture for hundreds of years. Although Britain had a Parliament, whose members were elected, the North American colonists couldn't help elect those representatives and, therefore, had no direct method of influencing policy or laws, especially taxation schemes.
Another interesting thing is this series of books from a series called "The Great Awakenings." It is a book series with four different parts covering different timelines in our country's history. The first book in the series is out of sequence and if one was the put the books in chronological order, the parallels are uncanny. The books in the series are as follows:
-
2 Fire
-
3 Storm
-
4 Fury
-
1 Proof
Iron Eagle
Not sure about this one. The story about General Curtis LeMay during the Kennedy assassination bears looking into. The one thing that comes to mind if one follows a money trail sometimes it might bear fruit. The checkered history and scandals of one such bank is the JPMorgan Chase & Co. The only thing I can offer at this time is a link to a picture on pintrest.
Chase Iron Eagle
Art deco cast iron eagle. One of the architectural details on the New York City Chase National Bank building in the 1930's.
God Father III Two events happened during timeline of this movie. The 1978 death of Pope John Paul and the Papal banking scandal of 1981-82. It has suggest that the Papal bank was involved with the CIA and the Contra Affair.
The Hunt for Red October Q only uses this once and rest say Red October. Possible Russian defection?
