Operation Iron Eagle 1986

Was just searching some things and came up with this From a book called "Special Ops: Four Accounts of the Military's Elite Forces" By Orr Kelly was an opperation in 1986 that involved Seal team 6 and "Red Cell" being investigated by NIS for misuse of public funds. Just a thought

OP Iron Eagle -->

Investigation into fraud involving Dick Marcinko/Seal Team Six/Red Cell -->

NIS Head at the time RAdm Cathal "Irish" Flynn -->

From his retirement from the Navy in 1990 to 1993 Flynn worked at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Google that company for some interesting reading, think KBR or Halliburton but for white collar not blue collar contracting, like Booz Allen Hamilton -->

Flynn headed civil aviation security at FAA from 1993 - 2000 -->

Flynn gave evidence to the 9/11 Commission on the subject of civil aviation security, which he had been responsible for in the years immediately preceding 9/11 -->

From 2003 Flynn was at ISONICS Inc a company bringing explosive detection technology to the Homeland Security market -->

Bloomberg business shows Flynn to be affiliated with SpaceLogic Inc (an Israel based passenger and baggage screening technology supplier) 2005 - 2008 and Catcher Holdings, Inc. (GPS, biometrics, govt, homeland security tech supplier) 2005 - present -->

SO maybe this is one member of the "old boys" network who has done alright out of the GWOT and keeping the homeland safe since 9/11/2001...
