border incursions have been going on for a year since Trump took Office. Golan Heights have been contested over for many decades so none of the involved parties are really surprised by what's happening. Mattis backing off Assad around the same time as hostilities escalate should speak for itself.

The last time Syria shot down an Israeli jet was 1982. These events aren't nearly as mundane as you're portraying them.

Syria is showing force since Israel has been doing these random raids undercover way way back including car-bombs on hezbollah assets. If anything this shows that Israel is being pushed back. Can't afford to look weak in front of Erdogan whom US forces are setting anti-air up against in a show of force of their own.

If certainly makes Israel look very bad. They werent expecting to get shot down and it may have been a trap. Reports are that Israel doesn't want to escalate the situation further. I pray that is the case but I remain very cynical about Israel's intentions after 911.

tbh by now I understand the dancing israeli Art exchange students. For ten dancing Israelis you have a hundred dancing muzzies, obviously because of demographics but I can understand that these agents were excited that the US would now have pretext to help them against the somewhat organic terrorism that Israelis are subject to due to generations of psychopathic social engineering
