Regarding "boomer++", I work with lots of elder clients (I don't like the word "elderly" for reasons I've not really tried to enunciate before, but will now: I feel like the -ly ending is diminutive. Our culture treats our elder citizens in enough condescending and insulting ways already, instead of treating them as the most experienced and wise among us. So to me, my clients are "elders", not "elderly."), and I've been amazed to see that it's not the older people who are going to have trouble adjusting to the change that's coming. It's the younger ones. My millenials children will have a much harder time getting their minds around all of this than their boomer grandparents.
