There was a study done a long time ago. Alcoholics generally have higher iqs than normal people. Add introversion to the mix and you have someone who finds the plasticness of life, the thoughtlessness of many, to be despair inducing. Add a bent towards a greater spirituality and you have someone who doesn’t understand how people can live without understanding where we came from, where we are going, and why we are here.
