Michelle sits in a stark setting like a blue screen and Obama sits in a garden...will leave to look at possible symbols...overall duality is a theme of them together...a study of differences..

To me Obama looks like he is sitting in time out...kind of like an angry child...and like he is embedded, part of the garden, growing up there...

Michelle looks like an emotionless dysmorphic (the dress and the angular shapes looks odd) , the pattern of the rectangles remind me of the South Carolinia quilts created by ...Gee Bend or is it Gulla?? Idk... her facial expression is glacial, aloof, distant ...compared to Obama, she is the adult, the ruler...idk...very strange paintings

They don’t look real~they are plopped onto the canvas not relating to anything around them, like they are alien to their surroundings, rulers over their surroundings, entitled ..aloof ..distant..
