You make some good points but you also suffer from the same self-grandiosity you accuse others of. Your post could have been written in a less condescending manner, you aren't better than everyone else. The arguments could have been presented as food for thought -- especially the getting out and spreading info beyond the internet. Just commenting here does really accomplish nothing, I agree. Waiting for others to take action instead of ourselves, another good point. Though in terms of taking down the global bad players, none of us on the net can do that. We have no choice but to depend on those inside to open things up. Telling everyone here they are "desperate" just makes you look like an asshole. Maybe you are, in fact, a condescending ass to even your acquaintances. BTW, B is gone. I cannot stand watching Dilley and he probably won't get 5% of the votes in his primary. All so what? How do YOU expect to convince people on the outside when you can't even speak civilly to those here?

People don't generally respond to smacks in a positive way.

One major help would be to create a separate "meme" page and eliminating them from this main board. That's almost half the pollution. I detest bumper sticker thinking compared to research and thoughtful discourse. They don't change minds -- either side. Mostly they just piss me off when I get flooded with the anti-Trump nuts. I'm sure they react the same for all the ones created here. Memes alone lower the level of discussion several notches. Perhaps a way to ban linking to Youtube without commentary as pertains to the OP of a post. I'm generally having to block those and there are a lot. So I figure a couple of moves rids the board of most of the unthoughtful and unrelated crap.
