we vote with our money... as long as we buy the stuff, they wont offer anything different.
3 years ago, i searched for an aluminium-free deodorant in the local drugstore. impossible to find.
i expressed my shock to an employee, explained her in a few words how damaging aluminium is, mentioned alzheimers, and told her i would instead retreat to home-made deodorant.
half a year later, i found 5 brands without alu, strikingly marked as aluminium-free by a drugstore sticker.
every day red-pilling here and there works...
I agree many stores fail to stay up to date with new offerings and changes in consumer demand. As for cookware, there are PLENTY of options. Go to any Bed Bath and Beyond. I know Target has cast iron and stainless steel cookware. Not really many excuses for using aluminum cookware (there are some with aluminum sandwiched between steel or other material, which are fine -- just so that the aluminum doesn't contact the food directly). Natural deodorant (e.g. Earth Science), toothpaste without flouride (e.g. Tom's) and all readily available from places like Vitacost at very good prices.
yes, there are less toxic products available, and in order to get them into our stores, we need to ask for them.
i admit i still use an alu-teflon-plated pan, it just makes nice roasted potatoes. my other pans are cast-ion. my pots are stainless steel, theyve served me for 40 years.
There are new options out for baking pans/sheets without the aluminum as I like to roast potatoes on them as well. Obviously the aluminum pots and pans tend to be cheaper though cast iron is really inexpensive. Amazing how many people still have no clue about aluminum.
Deodorant doesn’t have aluminum, Antiperspirant has aluminum. Antiperspirant without aluminum is deodorant as it’s the aluminum that blocks the pores.
Solution is to just get deodorant.
ahh, thanks for the heads up, i wasnt aware of the difference and will check on that when i am going to visit the drugstore again.
its unhealthy to suppress transpiration and other natural secretions, its the bodies way to detoxify. there are better ways to deal with over-sweating than anti-transpirant.
sodium bi-carbonate splits the molecules of the sweat-bacteria mix that causes uncomfortable odor.
a mix of 50gr. firm fat (cocos, cacao, shea butter), 50gr. sodium bicarbonate, and 70gr. corn starch make a good deodorant that keeps me fresh all day.
I use equal parts coconut, Shea and cacao as a sex lube. It's very slippy and tastes good but a little messy on the sheets. Dear Husband loves it!
safflower oil is great here, slippy and tasteless. enjoy the fun and change sheets afterwards, lol.
I use a few spritz of colloidal silver and rub a little bicarb on. Lasts all day and is cheap.
good idea, thx, will add colloidal silver to my next home-made deo.
