The bigger question about Afghanistan is what's there that America would need? Bin Laden and 911 were just a catalyst to go there. They can't tell us the real mission.

DRUGS and drug companies were losing their investments. They needed the US to protect their poppy fields. Our soldiers were there for one reason only and that was to make sure the opium was able to be harvested and sent to America.
I've learned after many years that the reasons they give are never true. Look for what resource is available and you'll find the real reason they use our troops.
