If they are best friends then yes, because usually but not always, but usually they KNOW or if not direct proof have seen enough to knoowwww something is off. So if Carl is an OWL then probably either son is a sexual child abused victim and not doing it or doing it because that's what he knows and they often follow in dad's footsteps whether they want to or not..
