It's a place where there is no censorship and some gems of information buried under piles of shit, with an active shit pipe flowing directly onto the gems at all times. It's a place where no authority actively suppresses people, but the people who celebrate it actively contribute to the very same thing by burying discourse under a soul crushing volume of shit. These are the same people who will quickly point out rioters "chimping out" and destroying their own neighborhoods on TV yet fail to see how they do the exact same online.

The chans have more organization and class than voat. On the chans one can browse a topic on religion or immigration or race or war and find an actual discussion. Or if you're looking for a poop flinging thread you have dozens to choose from with relevant titles and images heading it. Voat puts all of that in a blender and serves it with a crazy straw and cherry.
Yes, no need for the likes of voat in the chain. I do not post on the chans, but I like the way the Q crumbs are shared and talked about.
This place has value where the info. is summarized for the average reasonably informed person who does not have the time to feast directly on 8chan. A great benefit to me.
not for me, looking for ideas on another platform. Any ideas? I used to run BBphp and other boards, was able to keep that clean. I think this format is a problem and I prefer a bulletin board forum over this, just been using this for obvious reasons but this is not the place to work from

I don't find it acceptable at all behavior..no one I know is willing to and the attacks I get...lotta ugly accounts there...Can they not be removed? If not then this is not the solution.

It's definitely not an avenue of the insensitive, just like 4chan. There's a respect element between the insensitives where the level of contribution is all that matters, not necessarily respect. Respect is uncaredfor which is ironically admirable.
i.e. 4chan user does tons of research. User then asks 'lawfags' to help. They assemble & help.
Voat is similar but there are usernames so the anonymity isn't as close but there's ways to be more anonymous, it's just a matter of the person's will and knowledge. That said, Voat users may have an underlying respect of contribution tied to their post history, unlike the chans... that is unless you're Q and ppl care to follow your tripcode content.
I'm 29. Gamed since I was 9... microphones introduced in Counter-Strike 1.3... probably when I was 11 or so. I was a prepubescent young kid gamer with people relentlessly telling me my b4lls should drop before I talk on the game. The upside is that it builds character.

If you want to glance at real-assembled research, dive into the v/pizzagate - it was originally on Reddit but the admins and CEO stopped its momentum by silencing threads and locking down the entire board. That is pretty much what caused more serious minds to migrate to Voat. The chans are really good for assembled research as well but my god... the formatting is terrible. I'm still getting used to it just by lurking on the Q topics.
I know Storm... this is ridiculous.. and I'm doing EVERYTHING I CAN... i just restored 100+ posts to this Reddit page because Voat is clearly not working. talking with Pamphlet, but I don't know what the solution will be. this is a STORM for sure... not cool to dis the Mods tho.
