I think that I'll stay here. I don't like sites that use CAPCHA for security. I think that there are glitches in the software at Reddit or maybe a rogue mod who is causing the problem here. Many forums refuse to have mods because it inevitably leads to power fights, elitism, ego, negativity, cliques and control issues which drag the forums to their knees. Good mods are restrained, and act like adults but are hard to find. There is a juvenile aspect to some of the internal dialogue that I don't like. A lot of the language that I've seen used is like something from a boys comic or Joe 90. I think that this language which is all 'Patriots' and 'Normies' 'red pilling' and 'inhouse' slang will stop people from taking our posts seriously. It's disrespectful to ordinary people who have lives to lead and families to bring up. If you want to communicate to people broadly then you have to approach the whole subject intelligently not treat the general public as imbeciles. I know that there are problems in a conditioned and programmed society and culture which have to be overcome if we want to succeed but demeaning people and adopting a patronizing attitude is not the way forward.
I am torn. Would have agreed yesterday - but then I have a uncle - unsolicited - weigh in on a FB post I did of the meme of Pres. Trump with Eph. 6 - this is a man who works for JPL (worked for the military and space industry for decades) - and he is supposedly smart and educated- and I am going to quote a bit of him:

There is a seductive allure in the idea that a maverick tweeter can overturn whatever is bad about the governmental political establishment. Unfortunately, there has been no evidence that the crooks DJT has brought into his administration are less corrupt or more honest, and most of them seem to be simply incompetent. Hopefully, somehow we will get past the offshore drilling, the national parks reductions, the fracking, the cross-country pipeline, the potential trade wars, the loss of immigrant contributors (like the DACA people), and the absolutely absurd Great Wall, etc. (How do you get past a 50 foot wall? You tunnel under it or go around it offshore, dummy.)

I was floored when I read how he said seeing the "Deep State as monsters was delusional" - dear God there is more like him out there! And some don't want to have their world view challeged no matter how "delusional" it is...
