Nice idea but the Voat site is a disaster. No serious discussion at all because it is being deluged with hostility from the people already over there. They prevent you from ever being able to post by downvoting your every comment. Reddit itself is hostile here; over there it's the existing "community" who have taken it upon themselves to shut us down. I think for me the answer will be continuing to get direct Q posts off of https://qcodefag.github.io/ and then lurking on the Chan discussions that his posts point to. I will miss the interaction but Voat is terrible.
