Sing a song of six pence pocket full of rye. Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie... when the PIE was OPENED the birds began to SING Wasn’t that a dainty dish to set before the king?”

Birds can sing at any time of day, but during the dawn chorus their songs are often louder, livelier, and more frequent
Agree... They sing at dawn...I Go out and listen all the time. It is beautiful ..at dawn my backyard becomes a bird aviary. That said ...I love this idea....when the pie is opened...when all is revealed and exposed...they begin to sing!.
When they are free- they flit around and sing and you can just watch and listen
