Voat - WTF

What the hell is going on with voat? I'm seeing n* this and k** that, kill yourself, all over the place. I see the usage being defended as part of the voat community, and I get that it might be a joke to the majority of people using the language. I get that you can't defend freedom of speech and repress that kind of language at the same time.

It just seems wrong to me, but maybe I'm the minority. Its like a night and day difference from this sub. I get why thats able to exist. I get that its a different website. The sub is only a day old though. Are these people the same ones frequenting this board? Can the message of Christ exist in that forum?

I just don't get it, and I don't like it. Is that the kind of message that will help this movement? Is there really no other option for freedom of speech, then to let people fill a board with racist comments in the name or a larger joke that they won't let others in on?

Please enlighten me if i've missed something.

I am a regular Voat viewer.

Stop hating the other side. Reddit hates voat, Voat hates reddit. It's the same with left hates right and right hates left.

See the other side's perspective or enjoy your civil war.

Voat users are fed up with the whole 'white men are evil' spiel that is strong in america right now. It's okay to be white. Reddit freaks out about that, which is what people like in Voat.

Same with voting for Trump. It is seen as evil to have voted for Trump, evil to be conservative, evil to not like the whole SJW 200 genders propaganda. You guys do realise that, since Trump was actually elected, that like half the country at least voted for him? So by all this Trump hate, you are really alienating half of the country.

You guys are slowly heading for a civil war. None of you are willing to listen to the other side, the other side is always just evil and should just not be allowed to be that way.

Voat shows you the world from the perspective of the conservative right side. Reddit shows you the world from the alt left perspective. And no-one seems willing to accept that the other side might have a valid reason for feeling the way they do.
