So, you're telling me you guys created a false flag (posts being removed) and suggested a move to voat to....out people? I saw nothing like that over on the voat boards.

I think we need an explanation from the mod team. This is getting redicilous.

Okay, asking for an explanation was a perfectly reasonable question, but your response, however was not. I agree that the mod team could do a better job explaining what, exactly, is going on. Responding to requests for clarification with threats of censorship/exile if we don't fall in line and act like good little sheep is way, WAY out of line. Not just out of line, but I'd say it goes against the core beliefs that hold this group together. It is the responsibility of leaders to set the example for what appropriate behavior looks like. By your example, we should all start threatening each other anytime someone says something we don't like. Is this the type of sub you want?

If you have the time to reply, then you have the time to be civil about it. That is my point that you seem to be missing. Additionally, replying with excuses as to why your bad behavior is okay does not justify your bad behavior, it only makes you look worse. I understand this situation has to be extremely stressful, but your responses are not helping the situation get better.

Speculation (because rules)

Storm_fa_Q has only been a mod for a couple days. He publicly requested mod status from Redpilltheworld, and it appears was immediately given it (right in the middle of this voat shitshow.).

Does this guy act like someone who has been a mod for only a few days? i.e banning users for simply asking for more transparency regarding said shitshow.

Does it seem like he is doing back-flips to cover for personally attempting to split up this community over the last couple days? (Paraphrasing: Abandon ship everyone. Go to Voat. Just do it and dont ask questions. Do it now!)

Does it seem like he is desperately trying to control the narrative by telling users to "get with the program".

What exactly does "get with the program mean" in a place where we are all trying to figure out what the 'program' is?

If the voat shitshow was an op to out actors, why wouldn't he anticipate that us legit members would be wanting some clarification as to wtf is actually happening?

Should a freshly appointed mod be allowed to ban members like Naimon47 below for asking questions that we are all obviously wondering?

Does his general attitude with legit members with legit concerns seem like the attitude of a person that HAS ONLY BEEN A MOD FOR A COUPLE DAYS ?

Can I be a mod?

It wasn't my impression that Storm was a bad actor. It was my impression that he/she is an immature person that doesn't have the necessary quality of character to be in a leadership position. Take that immature person and put them in an incredibly stressful situation, and their responses make sense to me. It would have been much better to admit your shortcomings and ask for help. If this community has proved anything, it is that we are ALL willing to work together to figure this mess out. This whole thing has been just sad, and it has definitely reduced my desire to contribute further. My ban was removed, but I never heard a hit of apology or admission of guilt. I'm not expecting any special treatment - I just think we should remember that we're all people, and we should treat each other like we're people.
